Barnes in the Huntsville Community

Barnes is an active member of the Huntsville community. Barnes recently served as a Board Member with the Huntsville Young Lawyer’s Association. Additionally, Barnes has held various seats with the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Development Council, Lincoln Village Ambassadors, The National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Community Board, and Habitat for Humanity of Madison County.

In addition to professional organizations, Barnes and his wife, Cappy, are active members of Southwood Presbyterian Church, where they lead a weekly community group in addition to a small-group for high school boys that Barnes leads each week in their home.

Barnes and his wife met while students at Huntsville High School. Their two girls, Millie and Lucy, keep them busy when they aren’t spending time with friends, attending a local concert, or cheering on the Huntsville High School boy’s basketball team.
